Contrary to what the Discover Channel would have you to believe, there are custom bike builders who don’t live in Orange County, New York.
Liberty South Carolina is down the road from BFE and across the street from nowhere. A small southern down just outside of Greenville it’s close enough to Clemson University to mandate its residents don Orange and White every fall Saturday afternoon.
I was introduced to Redneck Engineering several years ago at Daytona’s Bike Week. The bikes they brought to that year’s show were some of the sickest I’d come across. Those bikes specialized in deep lines that put the rider, what seemed like, sitting almost on the ground and reaching skyward for the handlebars. Since then I’ve looked for them at every Bike Show I attend.
What their website lacks in ascetics and functionality it duly makes up for in content. On its pages are some of the baddest bikes one will ever come across. Today’s sick cycle remains one of my favorites. While the bike’s name could use some work the “Purple and Silver Undresser” is truly a work of art.
One doesn’t need to be Jesse James to understand why a ‘bagger’ motorcycle is called such – the bags kind of give it away. This bagger has a sleek look that would make even the staunchest of critics take notice. While I could go into detail about some of the bike’s specs I’d rather just let the visual do all the work.
This is a bike I wouldn’t mind seeing parked in my garage.
Huummmm, Queen.
Very, very nice. Makes me want to become a biker.
You need to make that happen, I think it would fit your personality.
